The main objective of e-Life project is to provide all the technological infrastructure necessary to improve the quality of life of that people who suffer intellectual disabilities and of those who assist them too. This initiative will provide services to help people with intellectual disabilities to perform daily activities independently inside and outside the home. Therefore, the aim of the project is to research, develop and implement technological tools, based on technology platforms, for people with intellectual disabilities and without absolute autonomy by promoting e-inclusion with ICT-based solutions. This initiative will provide a new typology of innovative products, creating a new business segment. It intends to create a system for tracking and monitoring the actions taken by the person with intellectual disability during the daily routine to help those people to be more independentThe platform is divided into 3 sections:Web application: the coordinators can see the routes made by the users through the coordinates obtained from the GPS of the mobile phone. Moreover, the paths and common areas of the user like going to work, going to the center, or going home are registered. If the user doesnt respect the planned route within specific hours, an alarm is sent automatically to the coordinator warning about the fact that the user is out-of-route. The web application also provides a user, mobile devices and a management system for paths , that are assigned among them. The coordinator can also create alarms or warnings so that the users know what they must do at home, and it is especially related to houseworks like ironing, warning about the time to go to work, etc.Server application: this application stores the received coordinates from the mobile devices,It compares them with the associated route of each user and sends appropiate alarms.Mobile Device: It consists of an application that starts in background on the device, in other words, it is completely hidden from the user. This application gets the GPS coordinates and sends them to the server application. Its operation is independent and allows the user to use the device normally. It is only visible to the user when a warning occurs, displaying an image, a text and a button to confirm that they have received the noticeCollaborating companies
