h-Seat

h-SEAT is an european project designed to propose a unique and evolving solution, encompassing a full set of medical devices, which are either fixed or mobile, along with the analysis and interpretation of integrated medical data which will help the elderly’s sleep re-education.The project proposes a technological solution allowing for the processing and integration of data obtained from various medical sensors, in order to offer appropriate services within a comprehensive integrated system. All of these services together should allow the patients to be educated in healthy routines and exercises. Consequently, it should allow the patient to re-educate his mind in order to achieve good sleeping habits using the new technologies. This system will provide them with information such advices and tips on a web page and on their own mobile phone. HealthCare professionals will have access to all the needed patients’ data: health status – sensor’s information – training programs (running and available).This project´s target people are the elderly and/or middle aged that present sleeping problems specially; but also can be aimed at people who suffer from chronic diseases, to be educated in healthy routines and exercises while they learn about their conditions, adjusting their exercise levels. Through this system these people know what is sleeping, the proper changes of the age, its disorders, the different treatments, etc. and they also learn and change life habits such as the physical activity to contribute to a major quality of sleeping and, as a result, a better quality of life.Project info: http://hseat-project.com/
