Smartxa proyect is oriented to those people who suffer Multiple Sclerosis, diabetes or another anomaly which has a negative effect in the gait. The main purpose is to develop a device which is able to measure the different gait parameters with the aim of acquiring data regarding the evolution of these diseases. Thus, the obtained data can be compared with different databases. The final objective would be to determine, through the gait analysis, in which stage of the disease is the patient, and also to verify the effectiveness of the treatment and give a feedback to the specialist.
